Microchipping

If you would like to ensure that your pet could always be identified if lost or rescued by a shelter then microchipping is a great choice for you. Randall Veterinary Hospital participates in a national microchipping program, and we are able to record your information on a microchip, and insert them into your pet. Each microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is inserted under your pet’s skin between the shoulder blades. This tiny chip contains a wealth of information for the practice that scans your pet. A unique code includes each pet’s name, family name and address and the veterinary practice that performed the insertion are all associated with the code on the microchip. Having this tiny chip placed can be reassuring for a pet owner who has lost their beloved family pet. Please visit Randall Veterinary Hospital to increase the odds of them being returned to you in the event they become separated from you.
